Tom's Productive Week Away from Work

Tom had last week off of work and was busy around here. He managed to get a lot in the yard done and start a new semester of school. He got the ground tilled, manured, and got all of our plants (save the potatoes) planted. Here is what we have a growin':

Jalepeno peppers (2)

Grapes (1)

Pear tree (1)

Bell peppers (4 green, 1 purple, 1 yellow)

From top to bottom: Chives, Okra, Basil (Sweet and Siam), and Cilantro

Blueberries (1 plant)

From left to right: Bulb onions (4) and Green onions (6)

Butternut (1), Zucchini (1), and Yellow Squash (1) [not all pictured here]

Green beans (2)

Cucumber (1) and Pickling cucumber (1) [I think this one is pickling]

Spinach (4 bunches)

Strawberries (12)

Corn (20)

Watermelon (2) and Cantaloupe (2) [one each pictured]

He also helped our friends get there stuff planted (they are using some space we have because they live in a condo and don't have a yard). They planted a few squashes and spinach too.

Here is what the stump that Tom is trying to remove looks like, isn't that nasty looking?:

This is the location where we want to put the pear tree. It is a nice little location that is far enough away from the house that it will remain "safe" and is in the front corner. Once we get it switched out it will look great.

This is the last thing I brought home from Texas, just got it back from being resized late last week:
