The Delay
So, it has been months. That is mostly because I "lost" access to the account when Google updated their system. This really means that I simply forgot my login until today. Oops.
Tom and I have had a busy summer. We spent the last part of May and the first part of June out in Texas with my folks. It was a fun couple of weeks and we were fortunate enough to have a friend up here who was willing to watch after our puppies for us.
July brought us Tom's 28th birthday. We spent it up in the Uinta Mountains camping over a long weekend. It was rainy and in the 70s the entire time, which compared to the 60 straight days of no rain and 90s and 100s temps we had down in Salt Lake was perfect. Aside from a little rain we had a good time. Izzie spent a large portion of her days watching squirrels climb trees, Shadow was delighted not to be over heated, and all four of us had a great time watching the moose that came frolicking through the camp site.
In upcoming events we are both starting our semester at SLCC next week. We are both excited and I'm especially nervous to be returning to school after all of this time. Tom is continuing to work towards his education pre-requisits and his math major. I will be starting a 5 course GIS certificate which will hopefully allow me to spend more time in the office and not in the field once I am completed.
I'll do better to keep you all updated from now on.
